Subject: Site inspection of Lot 4~, Block 4,
Subdivision

Golden Terrace
On July 13, 1983 and again on January 19, 1984 I inspected the
earth fill on Lot 4J), Block 4, Golden Terrace Subdivision. The
existing groundslopes gently down and away from the street. The
fill depth increases toward the rear of the lot to 18"-24" deep.
The fill was well compacted with heavy earth moving equipment
in July, 1983. Recently, the contractor has built up the
foundation base with broken rock and gravel. Again he used
heavy equipment to compact both the rock base and the earth
subbase. Considering both the extent of compaction and the
steel reinforced concr.ete. foundation proposed to be cons tructed
on site, the combined base and subbase would adequately
support the proposed residential development. .
