These items shall be included as part of the original report and corrective action shall be necessary for obtaining substantial compliance to the Springfield Housing Code. EXTERIOR/ROOFING/GUTTERING Add to item #3 on your list. Check existing support post and replace as needed., Add to item #4 on your list. Correct the rise and tread on stairs _ 8" maximum rise - 9" maximum run. The greatest riser height within any flight of stairs shall not exceed the smallest by more than 3/8 inch. PLUMBING Add item #3. Pipe the relief. valve drain down to within 6" off floor. ELECTRICAL Add to item #5 on your list. Remove grounding type receptacles from ungrounded circuits.or ground them. This is misleading to people using them. They think outlets are grounded and tend to get careless. This is a false impression of safety. Add item #7. Provide 3' clearance in front of service equipment. There is not enough space to safely reach or to work on the service panel. NOTE: laundry equipment may be moved or the panel may be faced to the other side of the wall. . Add item #8. Install service entrance conductors to match the ampacity of the service panel. Additions have been made to the electrical system increasing the load beyond capacity of conductors.
