HomeMy WebLinkAboutPermit Correspondence 2003-10-20 October 20, 2003 Tami and Gregory Jenkins 1147 Laurel Avenue Springfield, OR 97478 Subject: Land Use Compatibility Statement for 2937 1147 Laurel, Map and Tax Lot Number 18-02-0642/90200,201 and 202 Dear Tami and Gregory: This letter is in response to your request for a determination on the status of the three tax lots referenced above, These three tax lots were originally part of a larger ownership, In October 1960 this ownership was surveyed and pins set creating four parcels (A, B, C and D) (Lane County Surveyor's Office C,S,F, '12171), On March 1, 1962, Jenkins Trucking Company transferred ownership of all four parcels to Howard and Edith Jenkins, The parcels were individually described in the warranty deed, This property was under Lane County jurisdiction at the time of the survey and the deed transfer, Until May 1962, Lane County did not require land divisions to go through the partition process, Land divisions occurred when property was surveyed, pins set and separate legal descriptions recorded, Based on this information, the City of Springfield acknowledges the validity of these four parcels, The parcels may be treated as separate lots for sale and/or building, Please note that tax lots 201 and 202 have no frontage on a public street.
