NARRATIVE
THE PURPOSE OF THIS SURVfY WAS TO MONUMENT THE BOUNDARIES AND ADJUSTED LINES OF THE'LANDS
OF (1) NORTHVlEW INVESTMENTS INC., (2) JUAN SHEDRICK AND JOY BACKER, AND (3) LENORD E. HAYS AS
SAID ADJUSTMENT WAS GIVEN TENTATNE APPROVAL BY THE CITY OF EUGfNf UNDER PLANNING ACTION NUMBER
SUB 2007-00043 ON SEPTEMBER 4, 2007. THE POINTS AND LINES SHOWN HEREON WERE ESTABLISHED AS
FOLLOWS:
THE 3>> BRASS CAP MONUMENT FOUND AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LUCINDA COMEGY'S OLe NUMBER
81, T17S, R2W, W.M. AS SET IN REFERENCE 6 WAS ACCEPTED AS BEING SAID CORNER. THE J" BRASS CAP
MONUMENT FOUND AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LUCINDA COMEGY'S DLC NUMBER 81, T17S, R2W,W.M.
AS sa IN REFERENCE 7 WAS ACCEPTED AS BEING SAID CORNER. THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID DLC NUMBER 81
WAS CALCULATED BY RUNNING. A LINE BETWEEN SAID BRASS CAP MONUMENTS. THE BEARING, NORTH 89-.50'
00" EAST, BETWEEN SAID CORNERS AS SHOWN ON CSF. 20627 BY CLYDE A. RANDALL (REF 4) WAS USED
AS THE BASIS OF BEARINGS SHOWN HEREON. THE PK NAIL FOUND AT THE INTERSECTION OF 38TH ~'t<tET
AND "[" STREET WAS ACCEPTrD AS BEING A POINT ON THE CENTERLINE OF SAID 38TH STREET AS SHOWN ON
SAID CSF 20627 (REF 4).. THE 5/8" REBAR FOUND AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF TL 802 WAS ACCEPTED
AS BEING A POINT ON THE fAST MARGIN OF SAID 38TH STREUAS SHOWN ON SAID CSF20627 (REF 4).
THE CENTERLINE OF SAID 38TH ~'t<EET WAS CALCULATED BY RUNNING SOUTHERLY FROM SAID PK NAIL ALONG
A LINE THAT PASSES 25.00 FEU WESTERLY, BY PERPENDICULAR MEASUREMENT,. FROM SAID 5/8" REBAR
THAT WAS. FOUND AT THE NORTHWfST CORNER OF TL 802 AND THEN EXTENDING SAID LINE SOUTHERLY. . THE
EAST AND WEST MARGINS OF SAID J8TH STREET WERE ESTABLISHED BY OFFSt I liNG SAID CENTERLINE AS
SHOWN HEREON. THE 5/8" REBAR FOUND AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 27 OF "MALlNDA" (REF '3)
WAS ACCEPTED AS MARKING A POINT ON THE WEST LINE OF SAID LOT 27 AND NORTHERLY EXTENSION'OF
THE WEST LINES OF LOTS 28 TO 48, INCLUSIVE OF SAID PLAT. THE 03/8" REBAR FOUND AT THE SOUTHWfST
CORNER OF LOT 48 OF SAID PLAT OF "MALlNDA" (REF J) WAS ACCEPTED AS MARKING SAID CORNER, AS
BEING A POINT ON THE NORTH MARGIN OF THE MCKENZIE HIGHWAY AS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT, AND AS BE1NG
THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE LANDS OF JUAN SHEDRICK AND JOY BACKER (REF 1 1). THE fASTfRL Y WfST

THROUGH SAID 5/8" REBAR FOUND AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 27 AND EXTENDING SAID LINE TO
ITS INTERSECTION. WITH SAID SOUTH LINE OF LUCINDA COMEGY'S DLC NUMBER 81; THE f'K NAIL FOUND AT
THE EASTERLY...:.SOUTHEAST CORNER OF PARCEL I OF LPPN 92-P0196 (REF 5) WAS ACCEPTED AS BEING
OFFSET 10.00 FEET NORTHERLY OF SAID. NORTH MARGIN OF THE .MCKENZIE HIGHWAY AS SHOWN ON SAID
LPPN 92-P0196 (REF 5). SAID NORTH MARGIN OF THE MCKENZIE HIGHWAY WAS CALCULATED BY RUNNING
A LINE FROM THE 3/8" REBAR FOUND AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF lOT 48 OF SAID PLAT OF "MALlNDA"
WESTERLY ALONG A LINE THAT PASSES 10.00 FEET SOUTHERLY, BY PERPENDICULAR MEASUREMENT FROM
SAID PK NAIL THAT WAS FOUND AT THe EASTfRLY- SOUTHEAST CORNER OF PARCEL 1 OF LPPN 92-PO'196
(REF 5) AND EXTENDING SAID. LINE 80TH E:ASTERL Y AND WfSTERL Y. THE NORTHEAST CORNER. OF THE LANDS
OF NORTHVIEW INVESTMENTS INC (REF 8) WAS CALCULATED BY HOLDING THE DEED DISTANCE OF 1433.00
FEET SOUTHERLY ALONG THE WEST LINES OF THE PLAT OF "MALlNDA" AS MEASURED FROM THE NORTHWfST
CORNER OF LOT 26 OF SAID PLAT; THE NORTH LINE AND NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LANDS OF NORTHVlEW
