Dear Mr. Gee:
I have received,your message indicating that your intent in requesting a second address was
that the residence maintain the current address of 1937 Laura Street, and that the lease
business receive a new address. I apologize for the confusion on my part, and the purpose
of this letter is to clarify your request and correct the address notification dated April 27,
2001.

Since the driveway to the dwelling is on the south side of the commercial lease building, the
dwelling address needs to be a smaller number than the business address.
The address of the dwelling will remain as 1937 laura Street, and we have assigned the
address 1939 Laura Street for the business. As mentioned in the prior letter, this address
assignment is effective immediately. so please install address numbers on the laura Street
face of the business which are clearly visible and legible from laura Street as soon as
possible. Coordinate desired mailbox location and mail delivery with the Post Office.
I will notify the following companies and/or agencies of this new address assignment by
sending them a copy of this letter:

equest for second address
We have rec 'ved and reviewed your request for assignment of a second strJ t address. The
parcel under c sideration is Tax Lot 02800 of Lane County Assessor Map 17032710, and
is currently addr sed 1937 Laura Street. There is an existing commercral building fronting
on Laura Street (F merly Modern Carpet) with a single family dwellin\y6ehind. Formerly the
resident of the dwe 'ng also was owner/manager of the commer (al business, so it was
appropriate for the pro erty to be served by only one address.
It is our understanding tl1 t Mr. Gee has retired and still sides in the dwelling. The
commercial business is lease by a new tenant, and the adg ess for the business will remain
1 937 Laura Street. Since it I no longer appropriate f9( the dwelling to share the same
address, a new address is being ssigned for the dwelling. The applicant requested a new
address of 1923 Laura Street, howe er our records ing;6ate that the address of the Springfield
Utility Board Substation facility on ax Lot 02900 immediately south of this parcel is
addressed 1925 Laura Street. For this ason we re obligated to utilize an address between
1925 and 1937.
We have assigned the address 1929 Laura t ~t for the dwelling. This address assignment
is effective immediately, so please install e a ess numbers on a mailbox fronting 011 Laura
Street as soon as possible. Coordinat desired ilbox location with the Post Office.
