OREGON 97477 PUBLIC WORKS June 7, 1979 346 MAIN STREET 726.3753 Ms. Lynette Wright 660 Level Lane Springfield, Oregon 97477 Re: Change of Occupancy at 1863 Laura Street Dear Ms. Wright: At your request, the Building Division of the City of Springfield made an occupancy inspection on June 5, 1979, at 1863 Laura Street, Springfield, Oregon. The following items must be repaired or replaced to conform with the Uniform Building Coue as adopted by the City of Springfield: 1. The chimney"is not an approved type. 2. Remove all debris under the building. 3. Install crawl space access doors. 4. Handrails required at all stairs. i.e. front and "rear doors. 5. Need firewall between garage (lumber storage) and building. 6. Water heater will require drain pan and pressure relief valve. Both need to be piped to the outside. 7. Repair leaking trap on sink. 8. Cap off waste and water when laundry area is removed. 9. Replace electrical service. 10. ~lust have a clearance at least 3 feet over roof for service drop. 11. Install approved grounding electrode and conductor. 12. Remove "U" ground plugs from ungrounded circuits. - . .~........... Change of Occupancy Page 2. 13.
