RE: Real property at intersection of 32nd St. and Jasper Road in Springfield,
ci~~~. 18-02-06.2:4, Tax lot 3900 and/or 400 - 'fj'IL
Dear Mr. Mason:
On 2/13/81 I vi sited the above descri bed property (a dance ha 11) because I
observed that,l,a new covered porch had been buil t on the front of the
building. As far as I could determine there was no 'building permit:
issued on this work. Since a building permit and approved plan is
required I issued a 10 day notice to comply and pay a double fee for
starting the work without a valid building permit.: I gave this notice
to some employee at the premises.
Some time went by without any response to my first notice, so on 5/6/81 I
returned to the property again and observed that the covered porch ,still
remains attached to the building. In addition to that an eight foot fence
had been erected to enclose part of the property, This fence also must
have a building permit.

I issued a 2nd notice to comply within 10 days on all work done on this
property and pay aforementioned double fee. I attached this notice
together with a Stop Work Order to the front of the building. So far I
have not received any response or compliance in this matter.
'You, as the owner, are directly responsible for any and all construction
on this property and are in violation of Oregon State Law and Lane County
Code. You or your representative must immediately apply for a building
permit, submit two sets of building plans, submit a plot plan of the
property and pay a double buildlng permit fee in this case.
Failure to do so will result in our issuance of a Lane County Infraction in
your name, as owner of record. You have 10 days to accomplish the above
compliance regulations or respond to me directly.
