As you requcsted. an inspection has been made during thc performance of the excavation and
placement of gravel fill on this site in preparation filr construclion involving foundations for the
proposed residence. The excavation involved the removal of surface organic soil and other unsuitable
material and the placement of 12" maximum of 1 y.' minus crushed rock in accordance with our
standard procedures. The u.lUlpactcd surface of the cru.~hed rock is adequate to support the proposed
conventional wood frame residence. Thc compaction of the gravel surface is greater than 95% (Ira
standard proctor per J\STM D698-91.
