MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL REGULAR MEETING OF
THE SPRINGFIELD CITY COUNCIL HELD
MONDAY, JANUARY 8, 2007
The City of Springfield Council met in special regular session in the Council Chambers, 225 Fifth
Street, Springfield, Oregon, on Monday, January 8, 2007 at 5:33 p.m., with Mayor Leiken
presiding.
ATTENDANCE
Present were Mayor Leiken and Councilors Lundberg, Ballew, Ralston, Woodrow, and
Pishioneri. Also present were City Manager Gino Grimaldi, Interim Assistant City Manager
Mike Harman, City Attorney Joe Leahy, City Recorder Amy Sowa and members of the staff.
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. Administer Oath of Office to Councilors.
City Attorney Joe Leahy administered the Oath of Office to the following Councilors: Councilor
Christine Lundberg, Councilor Hillary Wylie and Councilor John Woodrow.
Mayor Leiken welcomed Councilor Hillary Wylie as the newest member of the Council. He said
her involvement in the community and her experience on other boards would serve the City
Council well.
Councilor Wylie said she had been looking forward to taking her seat on the Council for the last
seven months. She was amazed at the Council's knowledge and strength base and was very
excited about joining the Council, working for the City, the community and the citizens. She said
she was very grateful to be here.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 5:36 p.m.
