A visit was made to the site on this date to assess variations in rebar placement The
foHowing changes should be made to the present reinforcing layout:
1. Raise the laterals on the eastern walls to within 3.5" of the top of the footing.
The location at the bottom does not adequately mobilize the strength of the
rear. 'The hooks facing into the bouse (vertical dowels) should :remain as they
are.
2. Add one additional real' continuous to the east wall footing
3 _ Install dobies in the NE comer to raise the rear off the ground
4. Add miscellaneous steel for laterals to the lower footing_ This is not required"
but it will make the footing stronger, and use up excess rear.
