OnJeptember 11, 2002, representatives from Ford-Ness-Fassbender, Inc. visited the subject

crushect aggregate placed some'lim.e ago. Tfle aggregate is underJsln by yellowish brO'Nd:silty
clay lIubgrade with' cobbles to a depth lIfi 2 feet ~ subgrade has a moderate shrink/swell
potential that is mttigated by the aggregate cover.
Hand-probing aJld shallow test pits fndicatethat aggregate cap has been compacted to at least
95% of the materials maximum dry dE!nsttt relative to AASHTO Method T-99. The soit
eubgrede and COIJ'lpacted fiIf on this lot is suitable for conventional residential foundation
construction. The recommended allowable bearing alPacity of the bu~ding pad is 1,500 pst.
