PLAN CHECKING CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION March 15,2001 Krrs Johnson 489 S. 37th Springfield, OR 97478 RE. 6813 Ivv - Site Inspection - W 0 # 13595-RDR As you requested, a sIte inspectIon was performed on March 14,2001, to determine the sUitability of the site for the proposed wood framed residence , The north sloping site consists of a clay loam top SOil over a decomposed ash/sandstone 5011 intermixed with large (100-200 pound) stones, The SOil IS not considered expansive and a minImum of 4" of crushed rock should be installed to protect the site durrng incllmate weather. Although no surface or subsurface water was eVident at the tIme of the inspection, experience With the Immediate area indicates that future run off could be a problem I recommend that a pen meter footing drain be Installed and a trench drain also be Installed uphill from the reSIdence The trench dram should run across the property (East-West) a minimum of 24" deep With a slope of 1/4" per foot A perforated pipe IS to be installed m the trench and a solid pipe extended to the weep holes in the curb.
