RE. 6813 Ivv - Site Inspection - W 0 # 13595-RDR
As you requested, a sIte inspectIon was performed on March 14,2001, to determine the sUitability
of the site for the proposed wood framed residence
,
The north sloping site consists of a clay loam top SOil over a decomposed ash/sandstone 5011
intermixed with large (100-200 pound) stones, The SOil IS not considered expansive and a
minImum of 4" of crushed rock should be installed to protect the site durrng incllmate weather.
Although no surface or subsurface water was eVident at the tIme of the inspection, experience With
the Immediate area indicates that future run off could be a problem I recommend that a pen meter
footing drain be Installed and a trench drain also be Installed uphill from the reSIdence The trench
dram should run across the property (East-West) a minimum of 24" deep With a slope of 1/4" per
foot A perforated pipe IS to be installed m the trench and a solid pipe extended to the weep holes
in the curb. The trench should be Irned WIth filter fabriC and backfrlled Within 6" of grade With 3/4"
to 1 W' round or dram rock The frlter fabriC should be lapped over the rock then further fil/ed, to
grade, with SOIL
