RE: 1175 S 69th Street. Sorinafceld. Site/Soils Investigation - W.O. # 13747.RDR
As you requested, a site/soils investigation was perfonned at the above noted address on May
22, 2001 . Design for the site is as follows:
All fill, vegetation, and unbuik:lable j"Olk...:01 has been removed to native grade. The site consists
of a decomposed ash/sandstone with medium to large stones intermixed_ The soil type is
consistent thru out the building footprint with the exception of south west corner which contained
a pocket or seam of highly expansive clay material. This approximately 2 foot deep area is to
be excavated and replaced with Cut. ~cted crushed rock. A maximum 4" of crushed rock should
then be installed with tracked excavation equipment at the remainder of the site to protect the
proposed building site in the event of inclement weather_ An allowable soil bearing pressure of
1500 psf can be used for foundation design.
