As you requested, an inspection ha~ been made during the performance of the excavation and
placcmcnt of gl'llveI1111 on this site in preparation for the c,onstruction involving foundations for the
proposed residence. The excavation involved removal of surface organic soil and other unsuitable
material and the placement of 12" minimum of I \-'," minus crushed rock in accordance with our
standard procedures. The compacted surface of the crushed rock is adequate for a foundation
bearing capacity of 1000 psf, which is adequate 10 support the proposed conventional wood frame
residence, The compaction of the gravel surface is greater than 95% of a standard proctor pCI' ASTM
D698-91. (See attached data sheets).
