The excavation involved removal of surface organic soil and other unsuitable material and the placement of 12" minimum of I \-'," minus crushed rock in accordance with our standard procedures. The compacted surface of the crushed rock is adequate for a foundation bearing capacity of 1000 psf, which is adequate 10 support the proposed conventional wood frame residence, The compaction of the gravel surface is greater than 95% of a standard proctor pCI' ASTM D698-91.
