As you requested, a compaction inspection of the gravel under the proposed foundation has been
performed on this site in preparation of the construction involving foundations for the proposed
residence. The excavation involved the placement of3/4" minus crushed rock over the top of 3 Yz"
minus crushed rock. The compacted surface of the crushed rock is adequate for a foundation bearing
capacity of I 000 psf. The underlying soil conditions, site drainage and foundation were not designed
or rcvicwed by Mortier Engineering, P.c. The compaction of the gravel surface is greater than 95%
of a standard p:-octor, per ASTM D698-91. (See attached data sheet).
