The excavation involved the placement of3/4" minus crushed rock over the top of 3 Yz" minus crushed rock. The compacted surface of the crushed rock is adequate for a foundation bearing capacity of I 000 psf. The underlying soil conditions, site drainage and foundation were not designed or rcvicwed by Mortier Engineering, P.c. The compaction of the gravel surface is greater than 95% of a standard p:-octor, per ASTM D698-91. (See attached data sheet). .
