Sorine:field. OR Job # ko304~ As you requested, an inspection was performed at the above noted address on September 17.2003, to examine damage caused by a vehicle striking the front wall of the dining room bay. The existing structure is a wood framed multi-family dwelling, The walls are framed with 2x4's at 16" on center, the roof is trusses with composition roofing, and foundation is concrete'stemwalls and footings. The dining room bay projects out from the bearing wall line a..-p.u.Jmately 18", The trusses bear on a header at the soffit above the dining room bay; therefore the front wall of the dining room bay is non-bearing. The vehicle struck the front wall of the bay, displacing and damaging the wall framing at the front and left side of the dining room bay, The front door of the residence was punctured. The damage appears limited to the above mentioned non-bearing exterior walls and the front door. All damaged or displaced framing members are to be replacement with materials of equivalent properties. All interior and exterior finishes. and the front door are to be replaced to match existing. Damage not noted above that is discovered during the cleaning, exposing, and repair of the structure should be brought to the attention of Kevin M.
