RE: Permit Renewal for Two Garages at 37~ Jasper Road; Springfield,' Oregon
Dear Mr. Riel:
"On December 6, 1990, I received your letter requesting information on permit
renewal for the construction a garage;
According to our records, your last inspection was performed on October 31,
1989. The Springfield Building Safety Codes state that permits may be renewed
provided suspension or abandonment has not exceeded one year. Since the last
inspection date exceeds one year, you are ineligible to renew your permits..
In order to complete your construction project, you must first resubmit drawings
for the proposed garage which you have not started construction on, pay a plan
check fee, and obtain new permits once the plan review process has been
completed. This office currently has your original drawings on file, and if you
choose, we can copy these and use them for your plan submittal. The permits for
the other garage which is currently at the framing stage has also expired. You
will need to obtain a new permit in order to complete "the construction of that
garage. For your convenience, I have enclosed a two building permit and
electrical permit applications for your use.
