We inspected the excavated area of the site referenced above on February 21,1999,
The soils based on NOCS are Dixonville silty clay loam with "Very dark silty clay loam to 14". The
B horizon is cobbled 3iIty clay to the bottom of the excavation.
We performed tests with a CL-700A pocket penetrometer in two locatio~ on the site. We
detennined the bearing capacity of the soil, with a safety factor oe2.S. to be 1000 p,s,[
