HomeMy WebLinkAboutPermit Correspondence 2006-11-6 From: MOORE Donald Sent: Monday, November 06, 2006 5 55 PM To: PROCIW Jeff Cc: JONES Terry (Tara), CASTILE Robert Subject: 6690 Main St COM2006-01380 CASTILE Robert This IS one of those dlY projects, where the owner removed the eXisting roof before getting the permit He has a permit for the foundation work I told him that I would see what can be done to speed up the permit process My review IS almost done, just need to prepare the plan review comments, and there are quite a few I will not be here on Tuesday, so I was wondering If you might be able to help move the permit along With luck, I will just be out of the office one day maybe two The owner Originally told me he was Installing a new foundation under a portion of the bUilding and repairing some of the exterior walls as well as replacing a dry-rotted floor It now looks like he IS rebUilding a portion of the bUilding from the ground up It IS difficult to tell by the GIS photo whether the part he IS bUilding had an eXisting roof on all of It, although he says that there was He removed some of or the entire roof In order to replace It with new trusses over the entire bUilding Robert stopped the work until permits are obtained; that IS part of hiS job He can help update you on what he knows I am treating It as a partial rebUild, and complete structural re-roof. There will be a '10ft wide by 35 ft. long roof extension behind the kitchen and pantry/laundry area for an outside patio cover to be formed by cantilevered trusses ThIs does not show on the plans I left my marked up set of plans on my desk, they may help show what IS happening on the project I hope to be back soon Thanks In advance for whatever assistance you can render on thiS project.
