Met on-site with erector to establish a Job torque value for the 3/4" A325 high strength bolts Three bolts
were Installed and tightened In a Skidmore-Wilhelm tension control Indicator A torque value of 335 ft /Ibs
was established which cOincides with the minimum tension value of 28 kipS, per A I S C manual
Also, performed tension venflcatlon on the 1" A325 high strength bolts uSing the turn-of-the-nut method
Three bolts were Installed and tightened In a Skidmore-Wilhelm tension control Indicator, marked, and
turned an additional 1/3 turn Bolts tested Will meet and/or exceed the minimum tension requirements of 51
kipS, per A I S C manual While on-site, witnessed the 1" A325 high strength bolts being tightened to 'snug-
tight' condition and marked for the additional 1/3 turn
