Since the proposed extension of Cole Way will run primarily east-west, the ,addresses are in the 4200 and 4300 blocks of Cole Way to conform with our addressing grid. Since the address'1.lP:63,'€"Qle~'Wa~y] previously assigned by Lane County to the existing house on Tax Lot 06900 of Lane County Assessors Map #18020524, does not conform to the addressing grid, we are notifying you that this address will be changed to 4312 Cole Way. Please change your street address numbers on the house and on the mailbox by this date. Also, please be advised that conditions of the final plat approval include connection of the existing residence to the City Sewer. Please obtain additional permits and inspection approvals for this work as soon as possible. No development on the lots west of the proposed Lot 10, in the area where the existing septic system is located. can occur until this sewer connection is made and the septic system removed. The property in question is also known as Tax Lot 06900 of Lane County Assessors Map #18020524. The property in question is south of Jasper Road and east of 42nd Street, and is an extension of Cole Way from its current terminus westerly to 42nd Street. The current addressing for Cole Way was done by the county, and is somewhat odd because the street begins running south from Jasper Road, then loops around to the west then north then west again to its current terminus at this tax lot. For this reason, the County assigned addresses as though the entire street ran south from Jasper Road, and the numbers are therefore in the 1900 block. Since this new portion of Cole Way runs primarily east-west, the addressing we have assigned is in the 4200 and 4300 block of Cole Way, with the typical even numbers on the north and odd numbers on the south. This looks odd as it interfaces with the existing Cole Way addresses because even though the existing street is addressed as though it ran north-south, this terminus of the street runs east-west. This results in the existing houses on the north side of the westerly terminus being addressed with odd numbers, and the houses on the south side being addressed with even numbers. There is an existing house located on the proposed Lot 10, which is currently addressed 1063 Cole Way.
