Springfield, OR 97878 RE: 559 Ethan Ct.-Correction memo - Job #710-05 The following is in response to the correction memo dated 11/16/05. You have informed me that the City of Springfield has requested an inspection report by an engineer be provided to them about the condition of the foundation that was poured at the above location. An inspection of the foundation was performed on 12/07/05, The foundation appears to be installed in the workmanlike maimer and quality that is routinely performed by L & L Foundations, Inc;, and in that an inspection had been called in, it is likely that the requisite steel has been installed in preparation for said inspection, The personnel of this firm have had a long standing, minimum of 18 year, relationship with L & L Foundations, Inc. and Jerry Lowman, lind in our opinion, the\~,ali~y of eir work is consistent and as good as Mr. Lowman~s word. Herry Lowman;'..: .. assure the City of Springfield that the reinforcing steel is in place as per t ir\ ual configuration of two #4 bars in the footing and one in the stem wall. The foundation appears to be installed in the workmanlike manner and quality that is routinely performed by L & L Foundations, and in that an inspection had been called in, it is likely that the requisite steel has been installed in preparation for said inspection. The personnel of this firm have had a long standing, minimum of 18 year, relationship with L&L Foundations and Jerry Lowman, and in our opinion, the quality of their work is consistent and as good as Mr. Lowman's word. Jerry informed us that the reinforcing steel is in place as per plan per their usual configuration of two #4 bars in the footing and one in the stem wall.
