ORDINANCE NO. 6159 (Special)
AN ORDINANCE WITHDRAWING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY KNOWN AS DND LAND
COMPANY LLC , LOCATED IN GLENWOOD REGION OF SOUTHWEST SPRINGFIELD,
SOUTH OF JUDKINS ROAD, NORTH OF INTERSTATE 5 AND INVOLVING APPROXIMATELY
0.34 ACRE IDENTIFIED AS PART OF TAX LOT 600, T17S R03W S33 MAP 44;
HERETOFORE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD FROM THE GLENWOOD WATER
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, certain real property described belaw was annexed to. the City af
Springfield by arder af Lane Caunty Lacal Gavernment Baundary Cammissian under
Baundary Cammissian Number File EC SP 04-43, effective 08/29/05, and further described
in Exhibit A & B, and
WHEREAS, the property to. be withdrawn is lacated within the baundaries af the
Glenwaad Water District, and
WHEREAS, the City af Springfield Camman Cauncil held a public hearing and first
reading in the Springfield City Cauncil Chambers an February 21, 2006, and a secand
reading and adaptian an March 6, 2006, in accardance with ORS 222.524, far the purpase
af hearing any abjectians to. the withdrawal af the praperty fram the public service district
mentianed and there having been no. abjectians raised.
NOW THEREFORE THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Com man Cauncil af the City af Springfield daes hereby determine it
is in the best interest af the City af Springfield to. withdraw the real praperty described in
Section 2 fram the Glenwaad Water District in Lane Caunty, Oregan, insafar as the property
is lacated therein.
Section 2. The Camman Cauncil af the City af Springfield daes hereby determine .
that the fallawing described real property within the baundari.es of the Glenwaad Water
District is and shall be withdrawn from the Glenwood Water District in Lane Caunty, Oregan,
said praperty being described as fallaws: Tawnship 17Sauth, Range 03West, Sectian 33
Map 44 part of Tax Lat 600; as more particularly described in Exhibit B of this ordinance,
Baundary Cammissian File Number EC SP 05-43.

A~nexation Description
Commencing at a paint marking the intersection af t,he sauthwesterly right-of-way line cif
County Road No. 493 with the northwesterly right-of-way line of Judkins Road, said point being
Narth 117.17 feet and East 89,99 feet from the Sautheast comer af Sectian 33; Township 17
South, Range3 West of the ,Willamette Meridian; thence along the northwesterly right-of-way
line of Judkins Road, South 21006'30" West 696.88 feet to a point marking the intersection of
the northwesterly right-of-way line of Judkins Road with the easterly right-of-way line of
Interstate Highway 1-5; thence alang the easterly right-of-way line of Interstate Highway I~5,
Narth 22015'00" West 890 feet more or less to the POINT OF BEGINNING afthis property to
be annexed into the City of Springfield; thence cantinuing alang the easterly right-of-way line of
Interstate Highway 1-5, 183 feet mor~ or less to a paint; thence Narth 6r45'00" East 76.70 feet,
to a paint on the southwesterly right-of-way line of County Road No. 493; thence along the
southwesterly right-of-way line of County Road No, 493, along the arc of a 2934.82 foot radius
curve to the right (the chord of which ,bears Sauth 56042'54" East 86 feet more ar less) a curve
distance of 86 feet more or less; thence leaving the sauthwesterly right-af-way line of County
Road No. 493 and running South 26001 '53" West 168 feet more or less to the point of beginning
all in Lane County, Oregon and containing .35 acres, more or less. . '
