ORDINANCE NO. 6156 (Special)
AN ORDINANCE WITHDRAWING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY KNOWN AS MYERS/ROGERS
LOCATED IN SOUTHWEST SPRINGFIELD, NORTH OF KELLOGG ROAD, EAST OF
. ANDERSON STREET, WEST OF OAK MEADOWS PLACE AND ASPEN STREET AND
INVOLVING APPROXIMATELY .52 ACRES, IDENTIFIED AS TAX LOT 916 T17S R03W S34
MAP 22; HERETOFORE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD FROM THE RAINBOW
WATER DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, certain real property described below was annexed to the City of
Springfield by order of Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission under
Boundary Commission Number File EC SP 05-16, effective 06/02/05, and further described
in Exhibit A & B, and
WHEREAS, the property to be withdrawn is located within the boundaries of the
Rainbow Water District, and

WHEREAS, the City of Springfield Common Council held a public hearing and first
reading in the Springfield City Council Chambers on February 21, 2006, and a second
reading and adoption on March 6, 2006, in accordance with ORS 222.524, for the purpose
of hearing any objections to the withdrawal of the property from the public service district
mentioned and there having been no objections raised.
NOW THEREFORE THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Common Council of the City of Springfield does hereby determine it
is in the best interest of the City of Springfield to withdraw the real property described in
Section 2 from the Rainbow Water District in Lane County, Oregon, insofar as the property
is located therein.
Section 2. The Common Council of the City of Springfield does hereby determine
that the following described real property '0'ithin the, boundaries of the Rainbow Water
District is and shall be withdrawn from the Rainbow Water District in Lane County, Oregon,
said property being described as follows: Township 17South, Range 03West, Section 34
Map 22 Tax Lot 916; as more particularly described in Exhibit B of this ordinance, Boundary
Commission File Number EC SP 05- 16.
ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Springfield this 6th day of March
2006, by a vote of ~ for and ~ against.

EXHIB IT A
A tract of land in the northwest one-quarter of the northwest one-quarter of Section 17 South,
Range 3 West, Willamette Meridian, Lane County, Oregon, described as follows:
Parcel 1 of Land Partition Plat Number 91-P008Q, Lane County, Oregon, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest comer of Parcel 2 of Land Partition Plat Number 91-P0080; thence
North 03024'08" East along the western boundary of said Parcel 2 214.73 feet to a 5/8 inch rebar
lying on the northern boundary of said partition plat; thence leaving said western boundary North
87013'26" West along said northern boundary 133.92 feet to a 5/8 inch rebar marking the
northwest comer of said pariition; thence leaving said northern boundary South 02046'34" West
along the western boundary of said partition plat 5.60 feet to a 5/8 inch rebar; thence continuing
. along said western boundary South 02032'00" West 105.34 feet to a 5/8 inch rebar marking a
comer of said partition plat; thence leaving said western boundary South 71 034'25" East along a
