S~RINGFIELD AOO CITY OF SPRINGFIELD Office of Community & Economic Development Planning and Development Department December 17, 1985 Peter, Betty, Paul & Brenda Horvath 1120 Fairview Drive Springfield, OR 97477 RE: Expiration of Building Permit #840738 Dear Horvath Family: have received your letter dated December 13, 1985 in response to the notice of permit expiration you received from the Springfield Building Safety Division. After reviewing the circumstances having direct bearing on both the physical and economic feasibi 1 ity of perfor'ming the work authorized by the permit, I have concluded that a 180 day extension of the permits is in order. By the authority granted in Section 303(d) of the Springfield Building Code Administrative Code, your permit expiration deadline has been extended from August 27, 1985 until February 23, 1986. If no work is performed prior to the new expiration date, the permit will expire and no further extension can be granted. If work is performed prior to that date, and such work is inspected and approved by the Building Safety Division inspectors, the permit will remain valid. The permit will continue in force as long as no subsequent lapse in progress exceeds 180 days. Please monitor the progress made and call for inspections as work is performed. Our computer system generates a list of all permits which have not received an- inspection within 180 days, so it is important to call for inspections when progress is 51,);~ so our records will show that some construction activity is taking place. If you have questions regarding this permit, please call the Springfield Building Safety Division at 726-3753. Sincerely, ~~ Lorne ~J. P1eger Plans Examiner 225 North 5th Street .
