Proposed Change - Addition of Covered Porch and Breezeway
Dear Mr. Moore:
i\1:<er speaking to you yesterday about my proposed addition, I realized that I may have
ol.hlL:ctssarily backed myself into a comer by using the word "garage" to describe the existing
"ll1Jcturc to which the proposed breezeway roof would be attached.
The 20' x 20' building may have originally built as a garage, but has not housed any cars (llr
basoline powered vehicles of any kind) for the past 30 years. The previous owner of the
property used this building as a home workshop and storage area for many years prior to our
ownership which began in 1980. We also use this building as a home workshop (houses typir~,1
power tools) and general household storage, canning room, etc, Permanently located
workbenches partially block access through the doors and would prevent a vehicle from being
uriven into or storcd in the building, I usually refer to the building as my "shop" and
occasionally the" garage" out of habit.
Gi ven the fact that this structure is not in fact used as a garage to house gasoline powered
vehicles, but rather a home workshop and storage building, would the same requirements w'~
discussed yesterday apply to my proposed breezeway covering?
!'lease call me aL726-942J~0 discuss this at your earliest convenience_ Thank you,
~Ko
