To date, the plans and required permits for this construction have not been obtained. The Springfield Building Safety Codes Administrative Code slales that "Applications for which no permil is issued wilhin 180 days following the dale of appliealion shall expire by limitation, and plans and other data submitted for review may thereafter be returned to lhe applicant or destroyed by the Building Official." The Code further states lhal, "The Building Official may ex lend lhe time for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 days upon request by the applicant showing that circumstances beyond the control of the applicant have prevented action from being taken. No application shall be extended more than once, In order to renew action on an application after expiration, the applicant shall resubmit plans arid pay a new plan review fee." Since your plans were submitted more than one year ago, you do not have the option of an extension al this lime. If you would like your plans returned to you, please phone me within ten (10) days from the date of this letter and I would be happy to mail them to you.
