Conveniently located public transportation is essential for our workforce. Before we selected this site for our facility, we made certain that our employees would have access to that type of reliable transportation, We met with officials from the Lane Transit District and were excited to learn that our facility would be close to the new bus rapid transit line planned for the area, This was clearly a contributing factor in our decision to build and invest in our Springfield facility, Since moving to the Gateway area, and into our facility in early 2006, we have nearly doubled the number of our employees and our building is not yet fulL During the next few years we will continue our growth towards maximum capacity of approximately 1,000 employees, To encourage our employees to use the bus, we are taking part in Lane Transit District's Group Pass program. We have invested with LID to fund additional bus service to our facility; however the majority of our staff continues to depend upon their privately owned vehicles due to limited service in the Gateway area. The Springfield segment of the bus rapid transit system will increase the service in to Gateway, making it even more convenient and more frequently used by our employees and those of our neighboring businesses. There is a great deal of momentum surrounding growth in Springfield, particularly in the Gateway area. We encourage you to help maintain this momentum through your support of the Pioneer Parkway EmX project. ~;d Christopher T. Monnette Director, Reservations
