RE: Septic System Installation
Mr. Hunter,
This letter is to verify our conversations held April 27 and April 29, 1981
during my field visits to 2450 Dumas Drive where you were in the process of
repairing an existing septic system as per permit LC 630-81. I explained
during those conversations that the only people authorized to install septic
systems are an installer licensed under ORS 454.695 or the owner (doing his/
her own work). In addition, I mailed you a septic system installer license
application.
Please be advised that if further such violations occur, I will have no
opt i on but to refer the ma tter to DEQ for en forcement.

licensing division is 229-6402. They should be able to answer any questions
you may have regarding the licensing procedure.
