Dear Mr.' Copeland:
Your property at 2435 Dornoch St. is in violation of the Springfield City Code
and/or Ordinances. Rather than issuing a citation or taking immediate legal
action, it is the City's standard practice to inform citizens of the violation'
and request that it be corrected within a reasonable time.
The attached form specifies the violation, the corrections necessary in order to
comply with the applicable Code/Ordinance and the date by which your corrective
action must be completed.
The City appreciates your anticipated courtesy and cooperation. If you have any
questions regarding this letter, the violation or the required correction, please
contact the Springfield Planning and Development Department (726-3753).
In the event that you have not taken corrective action by October 22, 1986,
this matter will be referred to the City Attorney's Office for further action.

attached). Fences in residential districts are limited to six feet in height.
REQUIRED CORRECTION: The 8' fence on the property line must be reduced to a
maximum hei9ht of 6 feet.
DEADLINE FOR COMPLIANCE: Fifteen (15) days from the date of this letter or
October 22, 1986.
