At your request, the Building Division of the City of Springfield made a Housing
Inspection on March 3, 1983 at the following locations.
The following items were found in need of repair or replacement to conform to the
'Housing Code as adopted by the City of Springfield.
All applicable permits must be obtained and all items shall be installed in accor-
dance with applicable Codes and inspected before a Certificate of Compliance will
be issued.

1) Extension sleeves shall be installed in all electrical boxes not
flush or beyond the finished surface of paneled walls.
2) IIhere a grounding means does'not exist in a receptacle_enclosure_
only nongrounding type of receptacles shall be used as replacement
receptacles.
3) All electrical receptacles, switches and junction boxes shall be
provided with approved covers or face plates.
4) The bedroom windows shall be made openable for emergency egress
or rescu~.
5) The wall surface of the shower enclosure shall be of water resis-
tant material a minimum of 6 inches above the shower head.
6) The clotheswasher drain shall be connected to a separate and in-
dependant water seal type trap.
7) Remove the hardware hose cl amp on the water pi pe adjacent ':to the
hot water tank.

vided with approved covers or face plates.
3) Electrical receptacles shall not be located above baseboard heaters.
4) The bedroom adjacent to the kitchen area shall be provided with a
window or exterior door that will provide emergency egress from that
room.
5) Repair or .replace the bathroom floor and wall surfaces that have de-
teriorated due to excessive moisture contact.
6) Reali gn .and secure the front posts that supprot the carport roof.

NOTE: At the time of the inspection the underfloor area of the structure
was covered wtih approximately 6-8 inches of water.
