There may be a slight delay, of up to' 2 working days for small structures, due to the time required to review the. history of the structure to determine if it needs to be documented before demolition. This documentation is for archival purposes only and will not affect the granting of thedemol ition permit. If the structure is very large. or complicated the documentation. process may take up to a maximum of 4 working days. From the homogeneous list of building materials .established, 3 types of Roofing, 2 types of window glazing compound, ceiling and wall composites and several types of flooring materials were sampled and analyzed by an independent laboratory, Magnum Environmental Services. The results indicated that asbestos was present in 3 of the flooring materials sampled in the main house and one of window glazing compounds in the west end of the barn. Asbestos was found in the house in the flooring materials in the kitchen / dining rooms(approx 400 sq. ft.) and in the bathroom(approx 35 sq. ft.) These materials are required by law be properly abated prior to the demolition of this structure. On August 11, 2003 the asbestos containing building materials found in this investigation were properly abated by the Pacific Environmental Group Inc. of Eugene Oregon.
