To Whom It May Concern:
The City of Springfield Community Services Division - Building Safety has recently
received several complaints stating that plumbing and electrical work was performed at
the above referenced address without permits or inspection approvals, The complainant
also gave me the name of Linda Hartness, Century 21 Realty, as a contact. I called Linda
and inquired into the complaints. She confirmed information about new plumbing
located throughout the house and garage. Our records show the most recent building
permit for the property dated Apri16, 2001. The scope of the permit is for the installation
of a new exterior door and window in the detached garage.
Our department is required to investigate this complaint of illegal and potentially
hazardous plumbing and electrical completed without permits and inspection approvals,
The electrical inspector and I would appreciate your cooperation in inspecting the
property as soon as possible
