Thank you for allowing our department to conduct an inspection of the above referenced
property on Wednesday February 19, 2003. The Electrical Inspector and I observed
recently installed plumbing fixtures / piping and potentially hazardous electrical wiring
that was installed without the required permits or inspection approvals.
The illegal plumbing work includes new piping connecting a shower, sink and water
closet added in the utility room; two sinks added in the bedrooms; a water closet and
sinks added to the second floor area; and a water closet and associated plumbing added in
the garage.
The illegal electrical work includes wiring in utility room, various locations on the
second floor and in the converted garage.
The property owner shall obtain an investigation permit and remove all illegal plumbing
listed above. An inspection will then be conducted by this office to verify that the
plumbing has been restored to the original permitted condition. In addition, the electrical
wiring listed above shall be checked by a Oregon licensed electrical contractor and either
removed or brought into compliance with the Oregon Electrical Specialty Safety Code.
Permits and inspection approvals are required for all plumbing and electrical work
performed on this property.
