The existing exhaust fan above the electric range is not working properly; repair existing fan or replace with a new range hood and fan. Vent to-exterior of house. Miscellaneous Interior 1. There is water damage at floor next to the bathtub; remove all damaged/rotted materials; install new sub-floor where needed; install new underlayment and vinyl floor covering. 2. The kitchen floor covering is damaged/worn; install new sheet vinyl. 3. The door with window at rear exit from family room is damaged, replace with a new solid core door including new hardware and lockset. X 4. The wood-burning stove flue vents into the fireplace chimney (homeowner does- not use the fireplace). The windows do not have security locks; install security plns or other lock devices to secure sliding windows. 3. The paint at the exterior siding and trim is worn thin/peeling away; it is recom- mended that siding and trim be painted. 4. There is moss accumulation on roof shingles; it is recommended that roofing b~' cleaned and/or treated. 5. The family room lacks floor covering; install new sheet vinyl over new underlayment. 6. An energy audit from Springfield Util ity Board \.'/ill be made to determine the existing amount of insulation; attic and underf100r insulation shall be installed if needed to meet UBC requirements. 2. The front' door is without weatherstripping; install rigid aluminum vinyl inserts to sides, tops of door and at threshold. 3.
