From the homogeneous list of building materials established, 1 type of asbestos was present in the materials sampled. These materials are required by law be properly abated prior to the demolition of this structure. On May 10, 2004 the asbestos containing building materials found in this investigation were properly abated by the Pacific Environmental Group Inc. of Eugene Oregon, The waste generated is scheduled to be disposed of at the Lane County Solid Waste Disposal Facilities Asbestos Disposal Site. The house and adjacent storage buildings, following this exercise, are considered ready for demolition pursuant to the rules specified in DEQ Division 340-248-0270 and LRAPA's Title 43-015-10-A&B regarding asbestos, All documentation from these activities and the credentials of those who performed them are on file at the offices of Pacific Environmental Group Inc, If you or any of your associates have any questions regarding the activities described, please don't hesitate to call me at 541-461-9115 or 541-954-4369. On July 7,2003 an inspection and site survey for asbestos containing building materials was conducted at the above-mentioned address. From the homogeneous list of building materials established, 8 types of Roofing, window glazing compound, ceiling tiles and textures, drywall composites, plaster wall composites and 3 types of flooring materials were sampled and analyzed by an independent laboratory, Magnum Environmental Services. The results indicated that asbestos was present window glazing compound materials sampled, in the windows on the two small out buildings directly northeast of the main house, On May 10, 2004 the asbestos containing building materials found in this investigation were properly abated by the Pacific Environmental Group Inc, of Eugene Oregon.
