Dear Mr. and Ms. Hollister,
"
I have received your application for proposed signage to be installed at 1507 Centennial Blvd., Springfield,
Oregon, and have the following concerns and/or questions regarding your subm ittal. Your property is
zoned Major Retail Commercial and falls into the Community Commercial and Major Retail Commercial
Sign District. In this district, each development area is allowed three wall signs for a total combined area
of 350 square feet with no one sign exceeding 199 square feet and one freestanding, roof, or projecting
sign. The allowable area for these signs are 100 square feet for one face, and 200 square feet for two or
more faces.. Your application indicates that you already have a freestanding and a marquee sign on the
property which would not allow additional signage, other than wall signage, at this time.
On the back of the permit application, specifications are noted for the type of information needed when a
sign permit application is made. In addition to the photo's that you submitted, you also need to submit two
complete sets of drawings showing all dimensions, footing detail if applicable, attachment method, total
height, and a plot plan indicating where the proposed sign(s) will be located.
Because of the information I have at this time regarding your proposed signage, I am unable to complete a
plan review and issue a permit. If you choose to reapply, please include all information listed above and
on the permit application. Once I have received your submittal, I will process your application
immediately so I will not delay your project. If you have any questions, please feel free to phone me at
726-3790.
Sincerely,
~J~
