Wright 38093 Row River Road Cottage Grove, Oregon 97424 Dear Mr. Wright; At your request, the City of Springfield Building Division made a housing inspection on January 24, 1980, at 610 Ce~tennial Boulevard, Springfield, Oregon. The following items must be repaired or replaced to conform with the Uniform Housing Code as adopted by the City of Springfield: 1. Galvanized fittings are not permitted to be connected to copper piping i.e. at the water heater system, 2. Water heater pressure relief valve shall be piped to the outside of the house. 3. The woodstove must be supplied with 6.5 square inches of outside com- bustion air. 4. ,Hearth must extend 18 inches in front of the firebox and extend 8 inches to the sides.' 5. Vent connectro must be ,connected to the chimney with an approved fitting. 6. Vent connector pip~ must be installed in the chimney. ,7. Approved liner must be installed in the chimney. 8. Install approved electrical service panel. 9. Electrical service entrance cables must have an a foot clearance oyer, the roof. 10. The kitchen and bath light fixtures must be grounded., .' .' Property for rent, lease, or sale isre- quired to be wired by a licensed electrical contractor. All work must be inspe- cted and approved before a Certificate of Compliance will be issued.
