Adopt or reject the following resolution:

ST A TEMENT:
This permit project was engineered by Branch Engineering and constructed by
Clayton Haugland. The contractor has completed work on this public improvement
project. The City Council must formally acceptthe contractor's work on the project
for the City's use, operation, maintenance, and ownership.

FINANCIAL
IMPACT:
This project involved the installation of public improvements located in South A
Street consisting of: 28 feet by 20 feet wide asphalt concrete paved public street; 98
linear feet.of sidewalks; one street sign; 27 feet of 6-inch and 205 feet of 8-inch PVC
sanitary sewer line; 47 feet of 6-inch PVC and 152 fe~t of 12-inch concrete storm
sewer line; 10 feet of 1 a-inch perforated PVC storm drain line; one storm water
manhole; one storm water catch basin; and 20 linear feet of guardrail. The project
also included 3,529 square feet of dedicated right-of-way.
The developer of the project is TerryTravess. All work has been inspected by Branch
Engineering and the City Engineer and found to be satisfactory.
We do not have a final construction cost for this project, as it was privately
engineered, built and financed. There is no financial ~mpact to the City other than
future maintenance responsibilities.

RESOLUTION NO.
Acceptance
WHEREAS, work on the improvement described below has bet:(n fully completed and
has been duly inspected by the City Engineer of the City of Springfieldl

Taylor Rae Terrace; P30150 ,and
WHEREAS, said work was found to be in conformance with the terms of the contract
now on file in the City Recorder's office; and,
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Engineer that this improvement project
be accepted and permanently included in the improvement maintenance program of the City of
Springfield.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1) The Common Council of the City of Springfield does hereby accept for future
maintenance the above-described proj ect and accepts said improvement from the
contractor involved.
2) This resolution shall take effect upon adoption by the Council and approval by the
Mayor.
