York Associates., Inc.., Two Democracy Center 6903 Rockledge Drive Bethesda, MD 20817 RE: Centennial Apartments, 506 W Centennial, Springfield, Oregon Dear Trazy: At your request, we have researched our building inspection records for the Centennial Apartment Complex, and find no outstanding Building Code violations. As I mentioned during our phone conversation, the Building Safety Division in Springfield does not perform any routine inspections once a building is issued a certificate of occupancy. We do, however, perform a courtesy inspection of potential building hazards at the request of tenants. The building inspection staff currently employed by the City of Springfield have never received a tenant complaint for this apartment complex. The Fire Department assumes responsibility for safety of buildings once the are occupied, and does routine inspections of apartment complexes on at least an annual basis.
