RE: Request for Extension of Building Permit Expiration Date for Proposed Round
Table Pizza, 601 West Centennial Blvd., Springfield, Oregon
Dear Gene,
I have discussed your request with Ronald B. Clark, Superintendent of Building, and
have decided the following:
a) The intent of the permit expiration period is to purge the City records of inactive
permits, and to assure that current codes are applied to current construction pro-
j ects .
b) The State Code governing this construction is not proposed to change until July 1,
1983.
3) Allowing this permit to remain valid until'the new code goes into effect complies
with the intent of the State Structural Specialty Code and ,Fire and Life Safety
Code, Section 303 Cd).
Therefore, your permit number 810251 will remaln in effect until July 1, 1983 or until
the new State Building Code is adopted. If work has not commenced by that time, the
permit will be suspended and a new permit shall be obtained.
