Inspector Tom Marx stopped at 144 W. Centennial to investigate complaint,filed by
Edward Yu regarding the possibility of a single-family residence being used for multi-
residential purposes. Upon arrival, a person identifying himself or herself as a tenant who
was currently occupying the main house informed me that David Delong lived in a rear
living unit I opserved four separate units lettered A-D, including the main unit.

Inspectors Dave Gadomski, Bob Barnhart, Ralph Shaw and Tom Marx met at 144 W.
Centennial to inspect property. That inspection confirmed four separate living units, and
the main house. The letters A-D on the units that Tom Marx had seen posted on each unit
on 5-28-96 had been removed prior to our inspection. I spoke with David Delong and
, requested he come to our office and obtain a Housing Inspection to allow us access to the
property to ensure compliance with applicable codes.
