DEVELOPMENT SERVICES ADMINISTRATION PLANNING / BUILDING PUBLIC WORKS METROPOLITAN WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT SP,qllvGF!ELO, CIICf 87477 (503) 725-37')":/ CERTIFIED LETTER May 25, 1989 dl"'- Tf'>~III:::'~l)I...~ 501 Cascade Drive~ ~prlngTt~i6, Uregon 97477 Subject: Home Occupation Application Dear Mr. Comstock: Your Home Occupation Application was received on May 23, 1989. The application cannot be accepted for review until it is completed. The description needs to be completed. Because we have received complaints about the operation of your business which involved more than a "business office for carpet cleaning company" before we can review your proposal we need specific information that was not provided. If you can provide information about the following and include any additional information we may not be aware of we will review the proposal. Typical items which were not addressed include: are you planning to install a sign? does your operation require storage of materials, if yes, where do you propose to store them? is there any mechanical equipment involved in your operation? How many employees do you have, are they family members, who are they? When I telephoned your residence to discuss the need to apply for a permit a man answered the phone and told me he was an employee of the business. how many and what type of vehicles are associated with the operation? do you receive all your business by phone, mail? do you manufacture items on site? is there any activity occurring on site besides a "business office for carpet cleaning company"? The City would consider this description to mean that there would be a bookkeeper and telephone associated with your business and no vehicles, customers, employees, etc. ::7" " .
