Ordinance No. 5953 (General) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5 "PUBLIC PROTECTION", SPRINGFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 5.604(1) (a) "APPLICATION AND AMENDMENT" ADDING CERTAIN INFRACTIONS TO THE SPRINGFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE TO WHICH THE CIVIL INFRACTION PROCEDURE APPLIES The City of Springfield, Oregon finds as follows: 1. The Civil Infraction Procedure should apply to the Springfield Municipal Code Section 5.134 Prohibition of Bicycle Operation or Storage within City Hall. 2. The civil Infraction Procedure should apply to the Springfield Municipal Code Section 5.132 Prohibition of Skates and Skateboard Operation or Riding within certain Specified Area. 3. The civil Infraction Procedure should apply to the Springfield Municipal Code section 5.062 prohibition of Disturbance and Unreasonable Noise. 4. The Civil Infraction Procedure should apply to the Springfield Municipal Code section 5.058 Disorderly Conduct. 5. The Civil Infraction Procedure should apply to the Springfield Municipal Code section 5.059 Harassment. NOW THEREFORE, The City of Springfield Ordains as follows: section 5.604(1) (a) "Application and Amendment" of Chapter 5 of the Springfield Municipal Code is hereby amended as follows: "5.604 Application and Amendment (1) The civil infraction procedure prescribed by sections 5.600 to 5.626 applies to and amends the following laws of the city: (a) Springfield Code: Streets, Sections 3.200 to 3.226; Sanitary Sewers, Sections 3.350 to 3.382; Garbage and Refuse, Section 4.410, and 4.416; Miscellaneous Particular Nuisances, sections 5.002, 5.050, 5.052, 5.058, 5.059 and 5.062; . . . .... Control of Dogs and other Animals, section 5.424(3); Miscellaneous Offenses Concerning Public Safety, Sections 5.120, 5.122, 5.124, 5.132 and 5.134; Miscellaneous Offenses Concerning the General Welfare, sections 5.272, 5.274, and 5.276: Chapter 7, Business; Chapter 8, Signs, sections 8.200 to 8.266; (b) Springfield Development Code 1986 as subsequently amended; (c) Springfield Building Safety Codes, Administration Code; (d) The Uniform Fire Code as adopted by the City of Springfield."
