Special Regular Meeting
MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL REGULAR MEETING OF
THE SPRINGFIELD CITY COUNCIL HELD
MONDAY MARCH 9, 2015
The City of Springfield Council met in regular session in the Library Meeting Room, 225 Fifth Street,
Springfield, Oregon, on Monday March 9, 2015 at 7:34 p.m., with Mayor Lundberg presiding.
ATTENDANCE
Present were Mayor Lundberg and Councilors VanGordon, Moore, Ralston, Woodrow and Pishioneri.
Also present were City Manager Gino Grimaldi, Assistant City Manager Jeff Towery, City Attorney
Mary Bridget Smith, City Recorder Amy Sowa and members of the staff.
Councilor Wylie was absent (excused).
CONSENT CALENDAR
Mr. Grimaldi said in order for the builder to be able to sell the homes in his development, the City has
to accept the public improvements.
1. Resolutions
a. RESOLUTION NO 2015-06 —A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT CITY PROJECT P31021;
HAYDEN BRIDGE ESTATES.
b. RESOLUTION NO 2015-07 — A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT CITY PROJECT P31022: R
STREET WIDENING.
IT WAS MOVED BY COUNCILOR WOODROW WITH A SECOND BY COUNCILOR
VANGORDON TO APPROVE THE CONSENT CALENDAR. THE MOTION PASSED
WITH A VOTE OF 5 FOR AND 0 AGAINST (1 ABSENT — WYLIE).
Community Development Manager Tom Boyatt introduced Erin Fifield, the new Community
Development Analyst, who took Kevin Ko's place. She came from the Oregon Secretary of State's
Office Audit Division where she has been a program auditor for the past four years.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned 7:36 p.m.
