"A" Street - Springfield, OR 97477 Dear Les: In response to your concern about removing the green paint from the publicly' owned driveway approaches to your property, the Public Works Director graciously offered to perform the removal at City cost. This is being done so that the City can accept the project from the contractor. The estimated cost of paint removal is $1.50 per square foot, totalling approximately $1,000. As you are aware, this money might have been used for other City-related projects. The contractor will remove the paint this coming week. If the publicly-owned property near your business is repainted, you will be responsible for the cost of paint removal, as well as repayment of the $1,000 that the City has incurred. I I . Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation.
