IN NORTHWEST SPRINGFIELD, A PARCEL OF LAND KNOWN AS RIVER GLEN SUBDIVISION INCLUDING PORTIONS OF TAX LOTS 100, 200, 1500, 1900, 2000, 2102, T17S R03W S23 MAP 43; AND PORTIONS OF TAX LOTS 6000, 6100, 6200, AND 6300, T17S R03W S23 MAP 44; HERETOFORE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD FROM THE RAINBOW WATER DISTRICT. WHEREAS, certain real property described below was annexed to the City of Springfield by order of Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission under Boundary Commission Final Order Number 1103 (C SP 97-18) and further described in Exhibit A & B of Attachment 2, and WHEREAS, the property to be withdrawn IS located within the boundaries of the Rainbow Water District, and WHEREAS, the City of Springfield City Council held a public hearing and first reading in the Springfield City Council Chambers on February 1, 1999, and a second reading on February 16, 1999 in accordance with ORS 222.524, for the purpose of hearing any objections to the withdrawal of the property mentioned from the public service district mentioned and there having been -0-- objections raised. NOW THEREFORE THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: . Section 1: The Council of the City of Springfield does hereby determine that the real property described should be in the best interest of the City of Springfield withdrawn from the Rainbow Water District in Lane County, Oregon, insofar as the property is located therein. Section 2: The Common Council of the C.ity of Springfield does hereby determine that the fol/owing described real property within the boundaries of the Rainbow Water District is and shall be upon the effective date of this ordinance withdrawn from the Rainbow Water District in Lane County, Oregon, said property being described as follows: Township 17 South, Range 3 West, Section 23, Map 43, portions of Tax Lots 100,200,1500,1900,2000,2102 and Township 17 South, Range 3 West, Section 23, Map 44, portions of Tax Lots 6000,6100,6200 and 6300; as more particularly described in Exhibit A of Attachment 2 of this ordinance, Boundary Commission Final Order Number. 1103 (C SP 97 - 18). ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Springfield this 16th day of February, 1999, by a vote of ~ for and -2- against. ORDINANCE NO. 5909 EXHIBIT A Page 1 of 1 "EXlllBIT A" "RIVER GLEN FIRST & SECOND ADDITIONS" ANNEXATION BOUNDARIES The plat of "RIVER GLEN" as platted and filed September 1, 1995 in File 75 at Slides 223- 227 in LANE COUNTY OREGON PLAT RECORDS was used as the BASIS OF BEARINGS shown on the following descriptions. Bearings as shown in the description contained in that certain Delayed Annexation to the City of Springfield as submitted to Lane County Boundary Commission (Final Order No. 1043) and being appurtenant to said plat of "RIVER GLEN" were rotated clockwise 000 341 40" to match the bearings shown on said plat. The aforesaid annexation description for "RIVER GLEN" was prepared and filed prior to the finalization of the plat boundary and does not exactly match said boundary. It is the intent of this document (1) to eliminate any deficiencies in the lands that should have been included in the previous annexation and (2) to annex areas that will be platted as "RIVER GLEN FIRST ADDITION" and "RIVER GLEN SECOND ADDITION". The legal description for the "RIVER GLEN FIRST ADDITION" annexation together with portions not included in the previous annexation are described in II EXHIBIT A-I" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
