I would imagine this letter was sent to me because I am presently a court appointed Receiver for this property. I was appointed by the Lane County Circuit Court to collect rents and essentially manage the properties during the pendency of a foreclosure proceeding brought by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. I have no ownership interest in these properties. The FDIC has a trustee's foreclosure sale set for March 12, 1985. I would imagine that the FDIC will be the successful bidder at the sale and then will acquire fee title to this property. After that date, I will have no authority to deal with the property or to undertake any of the electrical or structural repairs recommended in your letter. These will have to be done by the FDIC. I have passed a copy of your letter on to Bob Brink, the FDIC employee who is overseeing the disposition of this property. He would be the appropriate person to contact regarding the matters mentioned in your letter. His address and phone number are as follows: Robert M. Brink Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation P.O. Box 1719 Portland, OR 97207 Phone: (1) 223-0117 ~, . Jim Matteson and Don Moore February 20, 1985 Page 2 . I hope this letter adequately clarifies the ownership status of this property for you.
