Tree Protection Notes
1. The CRZ for trees 4" or smaller shall be an area with a radius at least F from tree trunk.
2. The CRZ for trees over 4" In caliper shall be an area with a radius of at least 1f -W from the trunk for every 1" of caliper size.
3. No soil grade changes -or compaction shall take place within the CRZ, except In the street.
4. No storage of material shall be allowed within the CRZ.

GENERAL ROOT ZONE PROTECTION MEASURES
1. PLASTIC CONSTRUCTION FENCING SHALL BE INSTALLED WHERE WHERE INDICATED ON
THIS PLAN AND WHEREVER CONSTRUCTION IMPACTS THE ROOT ZONE OF EXISTING
TREES TO REMAIN. (SEE DETAIL 1 THIS SHEET FOR FENCING INSTALLATION)
2. PROTECTIVE FENCING SHALL BE INSPECTED AND APPROVED BY PRIOR TO START OF ANY
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY.
3. PROTECTIVE FENCING IS TO REMAIN IN PLACE FOR THE DURATION OF CONSTRUCTION.
4. NO STAGING OF MATERIALS OR DUMPING OF ANY DEBRIS IS PERMITTED WITHIN THE
FENCED AREA.
5. NO EXCAVATION, GRADING, CONSTRUCTION OR LANDSCAPING ACTIVITY SHALL TAKE
