RESOLUTION
NO. 00-31
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SPRINGFIELD COMMON COUNCIL SETTING
LOCAL REGIONAL SEWER CHARGES AS SET FORTH IN THE SPRINGFIELD CITY
CODE.
WHEREAS, the City of Springfield has established a system of sanitary and storm
drainage sewer systems; and
WHEREAS, sewer system operation and maintenance and certain capital costs are
paid from revenues derived from sewer user fees; and
WHEREAS, section 4.206 (3) of the Springfield Municipal Code authorizes the setting
of sewer charges by resolution of the Council; and
WHEREAS, a new schedule of sewer user fees is needed to meet budgeted FYOOI01
sewer operations and maintenance costs; ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Springfield that the attached City of Springfield Schedule of Sewer User Fees shall go
into effect June 1, 2000.
Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Springfield the 15th
2000.
